Holistic Social | Emotional Screening For Children
Who can benefit: Children 3-12 yrs
The social-emotional assessment is a holistic evaluation of the child’s perspective on his/her relationships, the current level of functioning, his/her current experience of various people and systems in his/her life. The purpose of the evaluation is to understand the different factors contributing to the functioning of the child and to identify the current experiences to conclude recommendations or to highlight concerns regarding the concerned child.
Attachment Therapy | Emotional Release & Empowerment
Who can benefit: Parent & Child | Emotional Release & Empowerment
Attachment is the most important foundation for healthy development. Many children are failing to develop a secure attachment to loving, protective caregivers. They are flooding mental health, child welfare, and school systems with an overwhelming array of problems and growing up to continue the cycle with their own children. Attachment is a physiological, emotional, cognitive, and social phenomenon. The attachment process is a mutual regulatory system, in which the child and caregiver influence one another over time. Attachment is a lifelong process. Attachment therapy will help the parent and child to strengthen that special emotional bond and in return will benefit the child’s functioning on all other levels of functioning.

Who can benefit: Child, Teenager & Adult Emotional release & Empowerment
Abuse is not limited to the behaviors that constitute abuse, but it involves a process of interaction and relationships. Abuse includes Sexual abuse, verbal abuse, physical abuse, emotional abuse, neglect, economical abuse, domestic violence, etc. When trying to understand abuse it is important to look at the different relationships involved in abuse. Abuse Therapy is a tool used to help the abused individual to gain power and control over the situation and empower that individual with coping skills for better, healthier emotional functioning.
Regression Therapy | Emotional Release & Empowerment
Who can benefit: Child, Teenager & Adults
In regression therapy, we purposefully make use of certain stimuli in order to take the child back, on a conscious level, to re-experience certain emotional release and Empowerment experiences in his past. When a child is purposefully taken back to a previous phase in his life and certain stimuli is presented and the unmet needs and unique experiences of the child in that phase are accessed. Regression therapy is therefore an effective therapeutic method to use when a child has experienced trauma/rejection and/or unmet emotional needs in previous developmental phases.
Holistic Social-Emotional Screening for Adolescents
Who can benefit: Adolescent
The Teenage social-emotional screening is a holistic evaluation of the teenager’s perspective on his/her relationships, the current level of functioning, his/her current experience of various people and systems in his/her life. In order to help adolescents, we need to understand the nature of adolescence and the developmental process. We need to stand still and look at the normal communication processes in adolescence. This will enable the counselor to meet the adolescent on his level, to join appropriately with the young person to achieve a mutually beneficial working relationship.
Structured Play Therapy:
Grief Care
Who can benefit: Child, Teenager & Adult
Each person needs to discover his or her own way of grieving. Trying to stop the child’s grieving process minimizes the significance of the loss and puts an unbelievable burden on the child. It is important to understand the grieving process of children and to educate parents in this regard, as not to put demands or limitations on children, by trying to change their grieving process, or pretending that it’s not going on. By allowing children to grieve they can grow with the experience.
Structured Play Therapy:
Divorce Care
Who can benefit: Child, Teenager & Adult
Divorce is a life-transforming experience. After divorce childhood is different. For children, the impact of divorce often increases over time and rises to a crescendo in adulthood. In adulthood, it affects personality, ability to trust, expectations about relationships, and the ability to cope with change. A child needs to pass through emotional stages in order to successfully deal with the divorce and minimize the long-term negative effects the divorce might have on him.
Structured Play Therapy: Trauma Reparation
Who can benefit: Child, Teenager & Adult
Children often deny trauma when they cannot handle the relevant sensory and or emotional stimuli associated with the trauma. It may also happen when the child is unable to process the trauma cognitively. When children show symptoms of trauma it indicates that the brain is actively trying to deal and resolve the trauma. When a child, after some time, still shows no symptoms of the trauma, there is cause for concern. An understanding of the different phases of development can assist the professional, dealing with traumatized children, to better understand and respond to children dealing with trauma.
Thriving Adolescent
Who can benefit: Adolescents
It has long been recognized that counselling children are very different for counselling adults. The same is true for counselling adolescents. The counselling relationship needs to respect the developmental needs of the adolescent – the issues that need to be addressed in counselling adolescents will be different. Therefore the therapist requires particular skills and strategies which pay particular attention to the adolescent’s developmental stage. Advanced cognitive intervention strategies are required.
